Artifical Insemination Unit opened in Karadiyanaru

Livestock Breeding Unit of the Health Commission, with the support of the Tamil Eelam Economic Development Organization, has established an Artificial Insemination Unit in Karadiyanaru, Batticaloa district. LTTE's Special Commander for Batticaloa-Amparai district, Ramesh ceremoniously opened the unit Friday morning 11 am, sources said.

LTTE military commander Prabha, Batti-Amparai LTTE's head of the Administration Unit, Reginald, Kudumbi malai head of LTTE's political wing Jeya, several officials from Livestock Breeding Unit of the Health Department and residents of Karadiyanaru participated in the event.

TEEDOR runs a sprawing research farm in Kilinochchi where research in experimental crops, drop irrigation and breeding of high quality livestock are being carried out.
